Today in class we focused on one of the Suzuki Early Childhood Concepts "Children Learn from One Another".  Dorothy Jones says  "In the Suzuki Early Childhood Education class "Taking Turns" develops independence and allows the child to learn patience. The many opportunities for observation of other children "Doing" reinforces skill development"

    This is such a valuable skill I see children in Suzuki ECE class taking time to learn, but it is part of the whole readiness learning of the child, a valuable skill in life. Even toddlers can take turns, and watch how others do this, in this positive environment.

    That's right we are interested in the whole child. Certainly we are developing musical skills but also social, emotional,all kindergarten readiness skills.
